Acrylic Paint on Stretched Canvas
"Crayons"
This painting focuses on objects that include triangles, visually relating things that otherwise would not "go together." I chose the components of this piece based on their bright colors and the presence of triangles that help the objects form a cohesive composition. I hope people will, perhaps, question how objects in the "real world" relate to one another when they see this painting. And, despite the incongruities of the images, I hope this painting is visually pleasing while conveying a sense of calm.
