Project #10: Sculpture Project
Letters, Monsters, & Monuments
You have until the end of the semester to complete whichever sculpture project you choose. There are only two project guidelines: sculptures must be well made (sturdy), and include a "color story" based on the color theory unit.

Project #3: Ribbons & Things
Due Friday, September 16th. (LAST DAY OF Q1!)
Note/Agenda for THURSDAY, September 1st
Dearest artists,
I am sorry to say that I need to be out again in order to take care of my father. He had a sudden down turn on Wednesday morning and cannot be left alone. I appreciate all of the heartfelt words and kind thoughts from you all! Hopefully I will return either Friday or Monday.
PowerSchool:
Due to the craziness of being at the hospital yesterday and getting my dad settled at home, I never did have a chance (again) to update PowerSchool. I am so sorry for this (additional) delay! I will do my best to address this either today or tomorrow. Thank you for being flexible! (I am more than happy to communicate further with parents about this if there are concerns about grades.)
Agenda:
Today you should work on the Doodle Box Creative Exercise. We will continue it on Friday and it will be due by the end of next week. For specifics, instructions, and examples, click on the assignment details/resources button below. (And YES, these assignments WILL BE GRADED and must be submitted prior to the end-of-quarter deadline in order to receive credit!)
REMEMBER:
Your conduct when I am out of the classroom is a reflection on SCS, our Art Room community, and all we have worked toward this school year! Make me proud, artists. Work ethic grades will be doubled this week and largely based on substitute feedback.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me! I may not get it immediately, but I will respond as soon as possible. I hope to see you all soon.
Love, Ms. Wolf

Due Friday, August 19th
- Write the PROVIDED definition for each term! Check out the EOA/POD RESOURCES page for these definitions, as well as other review of the Elements & Principles. (You can do this in the box with the row/column heading or list the definitions on the back of the matrix sheet.)
- Complete the matrix by creating a thoughtful, detailed drawing in each box of how each Element (row) can be used with each Principle (column). This matrix should NOT be rushed! You will use these terms and concepts throughout the year and are expected to be familiar with ALL of them.
